Different materials place different demands on ink architecture, transport, curing and verification. Use the application matrix to create a test brief for the actual production route.

Four Production Environments

Each card names the control points that should appear in a sample report.

APP

Garment Decoration

For DTG workflows, document fiber blend, pretreatment coat, white-ink opacity, platen setup, surface temperature, pressure, dwell and wash method. Dark garments may add more maintenance and cure sensitivity than light-garment jobs.

UV

Rigid Graphics

For UV flatbed output, record substrate surface energy, cleaning, primer if used, fixture repeatability, layer order, cure setting, adhesion procedure and edge quality. A result on acrylic does not automatically transfer to coated metal or glass.

DYE

Textile & Décor

For sublimation, pair transfer paper, ink, polyester content and press conditions. Measure the material surface temperature and dimensional change; controller setpoint alone does not show the thermal history of the fabric.

WIDE

Commercial Inkjet

For proofs, signage and wide-format media, verify transport, banding, profile, drying, lamination window and viewing distance. Sustained output includes loading, trimming and finishing rather than print motion alone.
